Here is a lovely picture of my Grammy holding a picture of herself from when she was 18 years old! Makes me think about a lot of things...the past, the future. You know. Introspective stuff. ;)

ReplyDeleteI remember the old photograph we had in our living room of my grandmother (who we also called Grammy). It was a really, really old black and white photo that had been hand-tinted and every time I looked at her rosy cheeks, her demure smile and the ringlets and ribbons in her hair, I remember thinking that she was the most beautiful woman in the world. I wanted to look just like her when I grew up. - G
