I introduced Mexican food, or my version, to one of my schools. My English club was 4 girls, but 40 people showed up to this English club! Lucky I bought A LOT hoping this would be the case........
But I couldn't teach them how to really FILL a burrito! Japanese people are so dainty :) Every single person said it was the first time they've ever eaten a tortilla or guacamole, not to mention a burrito!
Do they eat avacadoes over there or is avacado in a sushi roll just something that some guy in California made up? I love avacado and that guacamole is making me drool! - G

Very cool!! Sharing the culture is as much or more fun than teaching the language :) That's what I tell myself while going crazy prepping for parties and it's always worth it. They are always blown away by the size of the ham and Turkey at the Christmas party. I did a whole pig once. Once...never again :)
